The Simpsons in Sydenham

Me and Wictor were doing a Simpsons show for Spontaneous Productions in Sydenham. I had a few scenes before I was to come on as Marge and I was handed my big, bulky costume. I practiced the voice and it seemed to be there. I opened Wictor's script and I realised I hadn't read it yet! It read: Marge speaks with a hella Brummish accent. I didn't know how to do a Birmingham accent so I started to feel the panic. I put down Wictor's script and had some vague thoughts about whether I even had my own script or not. Well, for the accent, maybe I had time to listen to a quick YouTube clip for inspiration while changing into the costume. Then I realised SHIT, I DON'T KNOW MY LINES! And I snatched Wictor's script again and started reading. There didn't seem to be any set lines for me. All I could see was that Marge was supposed to come on, wanting something from Homer and, not being able to speak properly, would show her gratitude in doing snow angels on the floor once she got her way.

My panic grew and tore me out of the dream.
